You can eat and drink normally while taking dapagliflozin. Try to limit alcohol as it can lower your blood pressure. If you become ill with vomiting, diarrhoea or fever, there's a risk of dehydration – talk to a pharmacist or doctor. Ketogenic diets are a risk factor for potentially fatal ketoacidosis.
