Food and medication interactions, explained.

Some of the most serious food–drug interactions never get properly explained at the pharmacy counter. Grapefruit with statins, tyramine with MAOIs, vitamin K with warfarin, dairy with certain antibiotics — the leaflet says "ask your doctor", and dinner is left entirely up to you.

These guides cover the food and medication interactions we get asked about most: which foods to avoid, which are safe, what the evidence actually says, and how to build meals around your prescription. Every guide cites NHS, NICE, or peer-reviewed sources — and none of them replace advice from your prescriber or pharmacist.
