Do not take bisacodyl tablets with milk, cheese, yoghurt or antacids – leave a 1-hour gap. Coffee or tea with a small amount of milk is fine. If you get stomach pain or feel sick, spicy or rich food can make it worse. Drink plenty of fluids if you have diarrhoea.
